About: Herts & Essex Community Hospital

I had an appointment on 14th April 16 with gynaecology which I attended after 2 texts to ensure I go. I arrived and reported to main reception to be told no consultants have turned up but I can wait if I want...which I did. 20 mins later I was told that the clinic has been cancelled! I went to reception and was told that I would have a letter with in a week with a new appointment...im still waiting!

I rung today and was told "the consultant probably has you in their book, I will remind them, and you will get an appointment through! not good enough! especially given the reasons I am attending the hospital! I had worked my self up for the appointment and had to take leave from work to attend! all the staff can say is I understand and when we were leaving they were all standing around laughing and joking! no compassion! if I could I would refer to another hospital!
