"Excellent care in A and E on Boxing Day evening"

About: Dewsbury & District Hospital

I accompanied my disabled brother with multiple problems to A and E by ambulance about 9pm on Boxing Day.

I expected a long wait and a drawn out process (as we have experienced elsewhere) but he was seen immediately by a consultant and a staff nurse.

They were not only competent and professional but treated him with kindness and respect.

The ambulance staff were also great.

He had a long stay in hospital and this high standard of care and kindness continued (on MAU and Ward 6).
