My husband was suddenly taken seriously ill in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The paramedics were fantastic and diagnosed sepsis straight away, they quickly started the appropriate treatment before rushing him to Resus.
We were reassured by everyone there and the Doctor took the time to answer our questions even when they were nearing the end of their shift.
He was moved to MAU to be cared for until a bed became available on Iris ward (urology) where he is still receiving treatment.
I have no complaints whatsoever, (so far!) and even with the more demanding patients the staff on both wards show respect and have a lot of patience.
Please relay my thanks, including the Paramedics and to the lovely person on Iris ward who always remembered when my husband was missing and brought him a cup of tea just the way he likes it when he came back from his walk!
"Excellent care"
