"The gynecology dept. is excellent."

My girlfriend had to go in for a procedure and she was worried as she suffers from ME ( Chronic Fatigue ) and Fibromyalgia. As soon as she arrived ( 0730 ) the doctor and nurses made her feel at home. They explained what they were going to do and she had a say if there was anything she needed to change. She was even able to ask if she could have a female doctor instead of a male doctor carry out the procedure with no problems. They took her in first to ease her anxiety and it's just as well, as she needed quite a long time to recover whilst being on a drip.Before she left ( 9 hours later ) the nurse explained what to do and what to watch out for. Everyone concerned was very helpful and understanding. Which really is very surprising, as i went online and read the reviews which were not that favourable. However, the gynecology dept. couldn't have been better. Maybe this hospital is trying to turn things around and if this department is anything to go by then they are succeeding.
