I just wanted to say how lovely the staff were on ward 3, as well as in the operating theatre and recovery room. I underwent a tonsillectomy and fainted before I even got to the operating room as my blood pressure was very low! Nurse held me and helped me into a wheelchair. The doctors in theatre did well to keep me calm by talking to me and making sure that I was doing well. After coming round from the anaesthetic I was extremely distressed but the nurse there was reassuring and gave me lots of positive things to think about, cheered me up! Once back onto ward 3 I had a nurse looking after me through the day and night; made me feel like my health and wellbeing was taken seriously. Very nice to talk to (when I could)! Gave me lots of great advice about after care at home. Overall very happy about my experience, I want to give my praise to all the hardworking staff that helped me through it, thank you!
"Compassionate and efficient care!"
