"Unable to get treatment for kerataconus eye disease"

About: Guy's Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I'm student in the UK. The really bad thing is that for the past 8 months NHS is just giving me appointments, they are not suppoting me against my keratoconus eye disease.

Now my eye condition is so critical because of this appointment system, and the doctor told me if you want treatment you have to do it privately, and privately eye treatment cost is approx. £1500 for 1 eye.

I just wanted to know why, in this big country, no care of human life?

I'm totally fed up and just near to losing my eyes, now here the doctor is recommending me to "go back to your country and do your treatment, or ask somebody to donate you an eye."
