"Unable to see or speak to my doctor!"

My wife has recently seen a specialist who has recommended that I need to see my GP for some medication to treat my symptoms. The letter I received is a copy that has been sent to the practice. I phoned the reception and was told that they cannot offer me an appointment or a telephone conversation, so how on earth am I likely to get treated??? Appalling service!!!
