About: Sittingbourne Memorial Hospital

arrived at hospital 11.50, saw receptionist, told her about my granddaughter banging her head and being unconscious for 5 min and pain in jaw and headaches feeling sick and light hurting her eyes .was told to wait in waiting area at 2.50 saw a nurse who told us to go to medway hospital as they don't have facility to deal with head injuries she apologised for the 3 hr wait. why the receptionist never brought this head injury to the nurses attention we will never know .we went to medway hospital a&e told receptionist symptoms and was seen within 5mins totally different experience .my granddaughter had high blood pressure reacted to bright light, racing pulse pain in head this was a totally different experience to your hospital
