"emergency part for nebuliser"

We came for a break at the weekend, when we arrived my mother (who has severe COPD) noticed she had forgotten her mouthpiece for her nebuliser!

I went to Boots in Keswick who advised me to contact the hospital as they didnt stock the part needed.

I telephoned the hospital at 18:05pm - the receptionist took my details, the nature of the query and said they would get the nurse to ring back within 30 minutes.

I got a call back within 15 minutes, they didnt have a mouthpiece but they did have a mask we could try in the machine.

We went to collect the mask which was on reception ready and waiting!

took the mask and thankfully it did fit - major problem solved thanks to the wonderful staff that dealt with the call.

Cannot thank them enough, it would have meant a 4 hour round trip back home to get the part.

Wonderful service and the person on reception was so pleasant, thank you all!
