"Positive review as a Phoenix Wing outpatient"

I have been an outpatient at the Phoenix Wing since December 2015 and, to date, I only have good things to say about my experience. As a long standing eating disorders sufferer, I was very anxious about any potential treatment intervention but I have been treated with great understanding and support. The care is cohesive and thorough and the staff treat the patient holistically and don't just isolate the eating condition; they work with life concerns that have a domino effect on the disorder and support you with them from a practical angle too to try to minimise stress. Although, for me, the disorder is very long-standing and entrenched, the staff are realistic and the care is client centred so they work with you to achieve goals that you can cope with and that minimise excessive harm. I think the Phoenix Wing is a very good resource and the staff are great professionals.
