About: Northern General Hospital

I had a recent 4 day stay on Huntsman 5 at The Northern General hospital. I was an emergency admission from MAU. The staff were wonderful balancing the appropriate kind care with humour and friendliness. There were lots of older patients but I received all the care I needed on a busy ward. I must comment on the truly amazing night staff. Two support workers and the staff nurse in charge. This team were awesome!! So busy...but so kind & thoughtful. I had incredible pain in the early hours of each morning and they would ensure I got the medication I needed and checked that I was ok. Their humour was wonderful! Thank you so much.
