I turned up for day surgery (wisdom tooth extraction) at 7am.
I am disabled (failed back fusion) and can't sit or stand for long without strong painkillers which I hadn't taken due to having to be nil by mouth. The nurses were very understanding and got me straight to a bed and called the anaesthetist down to see me straight away.
Within an hour I had enough pain relief to settle.
The operation went without a hitch. Recovery in the theatre and back on Pagett ward was easy.
The nurses were kind and caring. Especially the ward sister.
Thank you all.
