What I liked
I had a miscarriage at 18 weeks. Nurses were mostly nice, i've been informed of every step of the procedure and of the consequences of every decision.
What could be improved
no one takes responsability! I've been given antibiotics and after a week ive been told from my gp that they forgot what they gave me so i had to take them again.
After giving "birth" they decided not to take me to theatre for the D&C procedure and they didn't do a scan, telling me i should have called if the bleeding wouldn't have stopped in 2 weeks. After 3 weeks i call because i was still bleeding and they said "it'snormal". After a month i've asked myself for a scan ... i still had something in the uterus, placenta or a cloth I don't know. This has been expelled after more than 2 months cause i didn't want to be touched by them anymore.
Consultants are not better: they claimed they haven't found anything, they didn't send me a report as they said they would.
After a year I had another miscarriage, exactly the same way, identical! The consultant was useless cause i took the initiative of arranging swabs myself. This time i had procedure somewhere else and guess what they found something in the placenta. I'm 35, i have a good job and i have to waste time!!
