What I liked

The hospital was exceptionally clean and bright. The appointment was well organised, I was expected and all of my papers were in order and prepared as I arrived. The most notable part of my experience was the fantastic level of care I was afforded by all staff. I get very apprehensive whenever I have to attend a surgery so a hospital is a challenge. The staff were polite, considerate, caring, took time to talk to me and explain what was happening. This was everyone from the reception and cleaning staff to the surgeon in the theatre. What was most heartwarming was the nursing staff themselves, absolutely superb, I couldn't wish for better care. The procedure was a success and I am now at home recovering. A big thanks to all those on the day surgery ward on the 30th November, you are all brilliant.

What could be improved

nothing from my point of view but talking to one of the nusring staff about their development goverment plans for a new professional qualification they will need more support and time for development and training.
