"Maternity inpatient care"

About: Russells Hall Hospital

The pre and post maternity service inpatient care was excellent. Staff were very caring, anaesthetists and medics were willing to listen. The whole experience was great, staff genuinely showed compassion and went out of their way to help the women and provide care for their babies.

A particular midwife worked a night shift when I was an inpatient. Whilst there was a lot of hard working staff they went out of their way to help, they were compassionate and smiled through every patient request. A true leader and compassionate person who I thought was an asset to the NHS.

A really good model of maternity care that should be shared amongst national provision.
