"One rude ambulance staff"

About: London Ambulance Service NHS Trust

(as the patient),

Am an asthmatic and I had difficulty in breathing; severe headache; swollen feet, feeling exhausted and weak, so I called for emergency. I waited for the ambulance to come. When they came two staff one rung the door bell but they rang my neighbours door not mine. My neighbour won't open as they're sleeping - it's past 11 pm.

So the ambulance staff called police to come and knock down the door. Next thing a big bang on the door as I stood up to go open it, but what I got was screaming in my face.

The ambulance person started talking so rudely and shouting why didn't I open the door? This person did not seem concerned about my health. I was even told that I should not call back the ambulance again, or if I want I should take a cab.

I said I had three kids in bed and couldn't leave them, but was told to get them up, dress them and go. So I said my husband is coming back in a few minutes. I was told they can't wait for him. One of the ambulance staff was just shouting and showing rudeness but their colleague spoke to me well, and even said I could call an ambulance if I needed. So as they are leaving, the rude staff member was still shouting at me and told me to check my phone, but there was no missed call. So all this rudeness was for nothing. I was being disrespected because they had rung the wrong doorbell.

My husband came and we called a cab. I went to Newham hospital, and surprisingly my blood pressure was high. I am Anaemic and that's why my asthma was off.

I am really disappointed and very upset right now about the treatment I had from that one staff member.
