"Constantly Cancelling appointment for my 5 year old son"

About: Alder Hey Hospital / Paediatric surgery

(as a parent/guardian),

We moved from Scotland in December and I got my son seen by the gp regarding getting his tongue tie operation. My son was booked into alder hey for march. Constantly since then his appointment has been cancelled and changed to a later date. My son is getting bullied at school because of the excess salva he is producing due to the tongue tie. I'm expecting my second child in 5 weeks and to make things worse my son was crying because he is scared to hold the baby once it arrives incase he gets into trouble for getting salva on it. This broke my heart. No 5 year should feel like this. I think it's a disgrace that he still hasn't been seen and this problem has not been resolved. I understand hospitals are very busy.
