I visited to potentially have some blood samples taken. I was advised via the telephone that I could attend for bloods on a Tuesday or Wednesday between 08:30 ~ Midday as a walk in patient having been given the forms by my doctor.
I took time out of work to do this and on arrival I was informed I could not have bloods taken at the Samuel Johnson even though I had been informed the opposite via the phone.
The 2 receptionists were most unhelpful and even one had the temerity and disrespect to shrug their shoulders at me, I asked that as I had been given wrong information surely they could ask someone to take my bloods as it would only take a few minutes, again no help or offer to even ask the question!, I simply had a response of 'well all our bloods go to Burton'. Both members of staff on reception were rude and not what I would expect and I would be most disturbed if they treated older patients with the contempt shown for myself.
I am not usually in the habit of leaving comments on this type of forum but I feel a degree of anger as to the action or lack of from the above.
"Very UnHelpful Reception Staff !!"
