"Ward 23"

About: Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust

I was rushed into hospital 21/02/16 with a burst appendix and had surgery the following day. Whilst in surgery I was found to have gynaecological complications so was taken to ward 23 for further treatment/recovery. I cannot praise the staff enough. I was on the ward for 22 nights and they couldn't do enough for me. The nurses and CSA's were the most caring professionals I have ever met. My consultant was also excellent and came to see me daily and throughly explained everything that was happening regarding my treatment. I hope I never have another hospital stay but if I did this is where I would want to be.
