This is the 3rd time I have been to the dermatology department. 1st time the doctor was a complete waste of time just fobbed me off. I then after leaving my feedback got an email from complaints and pals who said another dermatologist would be able to see me so I arranged to book another appointment. They had a thorough look and prescribed me a few treatments for different concerns my main concern is a itchy very uncomfortable and tender to touch rash on my forehead and jawline. The treatment they prescribed made things worse so I called the dermatology department with no luck they don't even answer the phone I tried every day for a week. I gave up and called complaints and pals who got me through instantly and what do you know they wouldn't take any responsibility for the adverse effects I had they said I will only be seen in 4 months time and to go back to my GP and see another dermatologist, j couldn't believe how unprofessional they have been. I went to my GP they said they can't refer me anywhere else because my history will show I'm still I treatment with Tameside and I have a follow up in 4monthe time. So since January I have struggled endlessly with the rash no one has helped me. Today I went back for my follow up with and again they said there's nothing visible to them even though I was flinching when they touched my forehead area as its that tender and sore. I said even if it isn't visible it's very sore and unbearable at times and if they could do a skin biopsy they rufused. Very upset with the lack of service and help. They also went as far as saying I may have a mental disorder of being obsessed with my skin. I am nowhere near a solution to my irritated skin. The service I've received at Tameside as been Hurrendous.
"very disappointed"
