"Very long waiting time for referral"

About: Royal Hospital for Children and Young People (Edinburgh) / Ear, Nose & Throat

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter has been suffering from recurrent ear infections ( every 2 weeks for over 6 months now). 4 months ago, our GP sent the referral to ENT at Sick Kids and we haven't heard anything yet. GP refuses to give us any antibiotics, so I have to see my daughter (2 year old) suffering for this long. Besides, I am very concerned of any scaring or potential damage to her ears/hearing!

Is there anyway we could speed up the process?
