"I didn't have a comfort zone, now I do"

About: Hollybush House

(as a service user),

I have had the good fortune and privilege to have attended two courses at Hollybush House, near Ayr.

As an individual who suffers from PTSD, I find it difficult to interact with people and tend to distance myself from people who are health professionals and such. This however was never a problem at Hollybush as the setting and particularly all members of staff, and by all, I mean all, from cleaners, cooks, to mental health professionals, are welcoming, helpful in extreme, cheerful. non-judgmental and friendly.

In short, the care and attention, help and understanding is second to none. For many years I didn't have a comfort zone, now I do.
