What I liked

I went for a blood test and found the reception staff efficient and friendly, the waing room clean and warm and was attended to after only about 10 mins waiting. The nurse was pleasant and answered my questions and the blood taken almost painlessly. I left happy.

What could be improved

I was suprised to find that you could go there for accidents and emergencys that do not require a doctor such as stitching and sprains between daytime hours. My son-law had a toe injury and spents hours at Norwich hospital when he could have gone to Cromer hospital which is considerably nearer.

Anything else?

Why isn't there any mention of the Accident and Emergancy service covered by the hospital on the website ?

Pleased to hear you got a friendly and efficient service at Cromer and District Hospital. The hospital provides a seven day a week, 365 day a year, Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) service delivered by Emergency Nurse Practitioners. It's not a full A&E service but does provide a very useful service for more minor injuries. Our website does have full details of the MIU service at Cromer - http://www.nnuh.nhs.uk/Dept.asp?ID=103
