My son was admitted to hospital for a short operation having fell over and deeply cutting his ear. We were incredibly impressed with the whole experience. When we arrived at the pediatric a&e we were seen straight away by very caring and professional staff. The sister who treated my son on peads a&e was excellent. We were seen very quickly by a ENT doctor who admitted him to have the wound closed by operation. The staff on the Tropical Lagoon ward were excellent; incredibly professional, really caring and very reassuring. They made us all feel very looked after and welcome and my son was calm and relaxed the whole time. The procedure was carried out effectively and we were looked after right up until his discharge. A very positive experience and we were highly impressed and pleased with the care we and our young son received.
