"Medical assessment ward"

About: Calderdale Royal Hospital

My 85 year old Mother in Law was recently hospitalised in the Calderdale medical assessment ward(2 a b c).

She had an infection which led her to be very confused and disorientated.

I have to say that every single member of staff were superb in dealing with her. She received high quality care.

Whilst it was a difficult 4 day stay for her the staff were caring, understanding and helpful.

I specifically noticed that other patients would ask staff for something ie water or a spoon and that member if staff dealt with the request instantly.

The staff were very clear in telling us what the plane was and we were updated daily on her progress and situation.

We were very impressed with the work ethic,, sense of humour and patience that all members of staff displayed.
