Recently I have been tested for Arthritis, which has shown negative in my blood results. So as requested by the first doctor I sore, who was very lovely, I sore another doctor to discuss my results. They were very rude, stating that due to my weight this was the reason for the pain. They failed to try and offer support in looking for another medical reason as to why my symptons are showing I. e. looking into psoriatic arthritis that does not show in bloods, especially knowing that my family has a history of psoriasis. The doctor assumed it was based on my weight immediately and belittled me about losing weight - they failed to appreciated that in 10 weeks I have lost over 2 stone. Apparently this weight loss was not good enough. I will never see this doctor again, I think that such attitudes are disgusting. That doctor belittled me, and I think no one should ever be made to feel the way I did, especially by a healthcare professional who has a duty of care, and under CQC regulations should ensure patient safety and care!
