"Praise for PRH"

I have recently had surgery to remove an affected parathyroid (parathyroidectomy) at Hurstwood Park. Following a visit to my Gp for loin pain at Christmas, I attended the rapid access clinic at PRH followed by a short stay on Ardingly Ward. On discharge I was seen by a Consultant Endocrinologist and prepared for surgery, once diagniosis was confirmed. Leading up to surgery I attended PRH for several different scans ( bone scan, kidney scan, neck Ultrasound scan plus nuclear medicine scans to name just a few) and some lithotripsy treatment. I would like to thank all the people that cared and supported me through the whole process which took 3 months from start to conclusion. I can not praise highly enough the care, kindness, compassion and support from all members of staff through out the process. I am glad to say I am feeling much better and have now returned to work.
