"I have never attended as a patient,"

About: Royal Oldham Hospital

As a healthcare professional myself, I can see clearly through the feedback given, which should be responded to with honesty and clarity.

I E, I took my child there and waited, my sick child wanted to go home, so I took him.

Obviously he was not sick enough to attend Accident and Emergency, which the name itself states life threatening, as is what you are there for.

I am not surprised the staff were described as rude and uncaring.

I have always said walk in centres should be alongside A/E and patients like that should be screened and sent to the appropriate department.

GP surgerys should be left alone and the aforesaid put into place.

Take away finance and separate buildings of which Oldham has far too many think about the service you give and stop blaming the staff on the front line.
