"What can I say – they saved my ..."

About: St Peter's Hospital (Chertsey)

(as the patient),

What I liked

What can I say – they saved my life last week. After a year under the so-called care of a consultant at another hospital – who missed every sign and symptom of what I was suffering from, and ended up treating just one symptom – I collapsed and was taken by ambulance to St Peter's. The wonderful person in A&E listened to my recent medical history, put two and two together, confirmed the diagnosis with x-ray and a CT scan, and the team had a stent in my heart within hours. I am alive and feeling wonderful now. They also found the underlying cancer that was the real cause of all my problems. Hopefully, they will be able to help me with this too – now it has been found. How I wish I had gone to St Peter's a year ago. I can't praise the hospital and its staff highly enough.

What could be improved

Cheap – or preferably free – parking for patients who need to come for treatment by car.
