"Kindness and sympathy from everyone"

We had a horrific incident with my youngest son last week which was entirely avoidable had we been been more careful. All the staff in the paediatric ED and on CAU (e38) were unfailingly kind and sympathetic, when I felt I didn't deserve any of it. They looked after my son with great care and gentleness, despite the ED being very busy. They kept me informed at all times of what would happen next and who/what we were waiting for.

They were utterly professional about the need to speak to Social Services (and I was glad they did), but very clear it needed to be done.

I can't thank any of them enough and would recommend the service highly.
