"horrendous experience"

I travelled from Ireland for a surgical abortion which I paid privately for I arrived with a friend who wasn't allowed to be with me, the nurse called me did the scan etc sent me into the bathroom to do a swab on myself then sent me downstairs to a room with 10 recliner chairs lined up beside each other with women everywhere ( like a conveyor belt is the only way I can describe it) they give me prep medicine which I took an allergic reaction to so they took me into a dirty toilet for an injection in my bum yes a dirty toilet! Everyone was taken into theatre one after the other and brought out just woken from a general aneastic and put back on a chair with only a blue sheet wrapped around their waist in witnessed by every other woman waiting to go in no dignity or respect at all and nothing like putting other people off going in! When it was my turn to go in they put me onto a cervical examination bed which was horrible the doctors were pulling at my legs to put them up on sterups before I was even put under the aneastic and there's no way the theatre was even cleaned after each patient it was all in one after the other I woke up on a recliner chair freezing with only my top on and a sheet wrapped around my waist they don't even use blankets or beds for that matter they keep you for an hour then that's it out you go still feeling groggy from aneastic I had a terrible experience even though i did pay for it myself you don't get any better treatment than NHS the clinic wasn't clean the doctors were rude they just want the job done and don't care how they treat you

I would never ever do it again and I certainly wouldn't recommend anyone to do it it's bad enough the decision I had to make never mind being treated with no respect or dignity what so ever surely the clinic would have to have inspections done just like hospitals do.
