"Treatment I received. Ambulance Response."

About: Gloucestershire Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the crews that came out to me a few years ago now when I fell out the back of a Lorry! I broke my right femur in 3 places and shattered it (proper job)! The care I received was fantastic and the drugs also! It was a very painful process but the Para's and ECA made it as comfortable as possible. This happened in Tetbury, Gloucestershire. Taken to A&E at GRH. Staff in A&E also fab! Xx

Hi Brokenbones

Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us.

It is always rewarding to hear stories of how our staff are delivering care and support to patients when they need it most.

We would be happy to share your story with the ambulance staff involved in your care, however to do so we will need some specific information. If you would like us to do this, please may I ask you to contact us on either plaudits@swast.nhs.uk or 01392 453 831 and a member of the Patient Engagement Team will be happy to help you further.

Thank you, again, for taking the time to provide us with feedback.

Kind regards

Sara
