"Day Surgery Unit"

I recently attended the Day Surgery Unit to have wires removed from my knee. I was rather apprehensive following a very painful experience during my first surgery just 5 months ago followed by months of slow recovery but I wish to extend my special thanks to the anaesthetist who ensured that this time I had a far more positive experience. I also wish to thank my nurse, who was calm and professional at all times and kept us informed despite the problems caused by the surgeon failing to turn up as scheduled.
