Was diagnosed as needing extensive bypass which meant staying in hospital until transfer to Glenfield leicester.
Staff in CSS were wonderful - the sister, nurses, NCAs, catering and cleaners.
That is until last day on CSS where I had pain on and off during the day.
The nurse in charge of my care that day (Monday 28 March) failed to deal with the pain.
I kept having ecgs which i was told was normal. In the end another nurse moved one of the electrodes which then showed i was having a heart attack.
Someone from the Lincoln Heart Centre told me I was having a heart attack and apologised that they hadn't been informed about me so i was then swiftly moved to CCU.
Here, the staff again were friendly and caring. Was moved to Glenfield the following day.
