"Edgware walk-in centre: closing times"

I attended Edgware Walk-in clinic with my daughter. According to the NHS website this closes at 10.00. We arrived at about 9.10. We eventaully saw the triage nurse about 10.00 to be told that there was no-one there to help as the clinic closed at 10.00 and my daughter would have to come back the next day. The receptionist did not tell us when we checked in that we were unlikely to be seen that evening. Several people also arrived after us and the doors were open right up until 10.00.

If a service says it's open until 10.00 and you arrive before then you expect to get seen by someone who can provide help. Several people who had clearly arrived before us were also in the same boat.

I've written to the PCT about this and I'm awaiting their response.
