"Orthopaedic unit/ Day surgery/fracture clinic"

I have recently fractured my foot in multiple places and needed surgery, I was seen by the consultant who has been an absolute life saver and extremely helpful, friendly and professional. The consultant referred me for my surgery within the week with a doctor who in my opinion is a genius, my injury was a nasty one and will have a long road to recovery but I'm so glad that these two professionals are looking after me.

Nurses/cast makers also in Orthopaedic unit are great... They really put your worries at eased and made me feel I was in good hands, very relaxed environment always seen before my appointment time or spot on time ( I like to be early rather than late).

And finally the nurses on the ward and the anaesthetist were outstanding went above and beyond to make me relax, this was my first operation and never been put to sleep before so I was very nervous and anxious... I happens to mention that I was going to a stevie wonder concert and the nurse that was with me began to hum "isn't she lovely "which made me smile as I drifted off.

My road to recovery is not over and still have many appoinents to attend but I can honestly say I'm so glad to be treated here by these amazing people.
