I Was admitted to A and E 9.3.16 and given it was the day of the junior doctors strike, the care I received was outstanding. My pain was dealt with within 15 mins of entering the building and the staff gave me anti sickness medication immediately. I couldn't have had better care. I was stabilised and sent to the surgical assessment unit where I was kept overnight. I had such wonderful care from staff nurse and the other nurses.
The net day I saw the consultant who was so lovely and kind. They booked me in for surgery the following week as they wanted to check the inflammation. I had the surgery on 16.3.16 and it was a bit tricker than they thought. I had come in through the seal unit for day cases and again had amazing care.
The consultant and their registrar both came to see me after surgery and were so caring. I was kept in overnight on ward 20 and again had fantastic care. Finally discharged the next day after surgery.
I honestly cannot fault the care I received. You are all a credit to our wonderful NHS!!
Thank you
