"MRI scan results"

About: Kent & Canterbury Hospital / X-ray and Scans

(as the patient),

I had an mri scan in march 2016 and was told it would take 3 weeks for the results I made a doctors appointment for the 1st april and guess what? thats right no mri results (wasted my time the doctors time and an appointment that someone else could of had) I rang kent and canterbury hospital in April and they told me my scan was still waiting to be read and they don't know when it will be read. I was also told that the person who said it would take 3 weeks should not of told me that. I have a psychiatrist appointment in April, this was booked 6 weeks ago on the idea of my results being available and if I don't have the results back by the appointment I will have to cancel this appointment, and don't know how long I will have to wait for another one. It will also affect my treatment as to what I can have because my psychiatrist wont know what they are treating me for. I tried ringing Canterbury again  for over 5 hours and no one is picking up the phone. This is not the first time I have had trouble with Canterbury hospital. I waited 6 weeks just for a letter earlier this year. It's not apologies people want it's action.  You don't understand the anguish and anxiety that goes with waiting for these kind of results, knowing that they are just laying around waiting for someone to look at them.
