"Truly impressed with my care and treatment"

I have just finished receiving care and treatment following an accident in December 2015. I have been pleased and impressed with the caring and positive attitude of staff, to me and to other patients. I think the theatre admissions unit staff deserve particular mention - they were so reassuring and made sure patients understood what was happening. Also the occupational therapist - I was pleased that I saw the same OT throughout. I liked the focus on recovery and what I could achieve, rather than dwelling on what I couldn't do. I felt involved in my care and treatment, including the anaesthetist who listened and took note of my worries about having an anaesthetic.
