I came into hospital on the 1/4/15 for a left arthrocentisis and a right tmj eminectomy to ward 18 from the minute I walked into the ward I was dealt with very promptly and admitted into the ward, no sooner I was met by a staff grade doctor from maxfax who explained they would be assisting the surgeon today and explained both procedures very thoroughly and even drew a diagram of the procedure (eminectomy) I was unsure about to give me a clearer picture of what was going to happen.after this I was met by a kind anethetist and explained the anaesthetic process from start to finish, the ward staff then admitted me to a bed the only downfall the was waiting to go to theatre from 7:30am until 3:30pm as I was last on the list, but other than that the care was absolutely fantastic,I would like to thank all ward staff that has dealt with my care the nurses are fantastic I would also like to thank maxfax theatres staff for making me feel at ease, and I would also like to thank my surgeon and their team for giving me a new lease of life back as I've been dealing with tmj symptoms for years, please could you pass on my regards to all the people involved in my care and thank them for the wonderful and stressful job they do as I know all the time the nhs is stretched but they still manage to find first class services from start to finish, many thanks.
"excellent and caring staff what more can I say!!"
