I have had an elderly relative as an inpatient here for 4 weeks and he is now receiving only palliative care. From the start, this has been a pretty awful experience. I feel that there is little communication between or from staff. In my opinion, the treatment is poor and I can comment on this as a Dr with 18years experience. Today I have been waiting 5 hours to try to get some more iv fluids prescribed. If I could, I would pick him up and walk out - there really is no adaquate excuse.
