About: The Whittington Hospital

I was admitted to Meyrick ward on 11-02-216 I was very nervous and worried, I cannot praise the staff enough. They treated all patients with dignity and respect.I was in there for 2 weeks my consultant was so understanding treating me as a individual and showing empathy I saw quite a few doctor's my illness was chest infection and Inf luenza through having C.O.P.D this is caused through smoking . The nurse on my ward did not stop from making beds to dealing with the patience.I thank all of them that made my stay comfortable .Only problem was drinks waiting until 9 am for a hot drink then again from 1 pm until 7 pm was far to long.I have now given up smoking after 42 years, thank you to all those who made me better.

Hi Lena

Congratulations on stopping smoking! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us and we've passed your feedback onto the ward.
