What could be improved

cleaning up of blood left on my father after taking endless bloodtests, my father called out during the night time to help to be sat up he was ignored by two workers, my father is dying from COPD emphysemia a kidney failure etc. he was moved from MAU 5th feb 2010 sent to hazel ward where I cannot visit my father due to norovirus on the ward, my father benefits from seeing his family and we also need to see him, we dont know how long we have left with him, it is wrong to keep us apart. some arrangements need to be made available to family so they can spend the time with their loved ones.

Anything else?

we had to call staff to empty his urine bag as it was full to overflowing, and then we had to clean what the nurse had spilled on the floor because they didnt return to clean it up, too many staff are seen walking to and fro but not doing anything, except administration of which there is too much time given to that and not caring for the patient. my father has had several visits to hospital with his condition and each time we have to go through the same amount of paperwork because there is apparently no continuity of recording patients details.
