"The fantastic care I received in Ward 32"

I was admitted to ward 32 at Kingsmill hospital due to what seemed like a flare up of a pre existing medical condition. The care that all the staff gave to me was absolutely fantastic! This ward is 110% the best ward I have ever stayed on by far. There was minor things that I think let the ward down like losing medication leading to a large amount of anxiety and frustration. There is a few members of staff that I would like to thank.

Sean is one of the bank HCA’s on the ward. Sean is one of the most caring health care practitioners I have ever met his care is fantastic and I couldn’t fault him for anything. He sat with me on several occasions when I was unwell to ensure that I was ok. Anything I needed was never too much he definitely went out of his way to make sure everybody's care was up to the highest standard. I can not thank Sean enough as his care was 110% it is people like Sean that are an absolute credit to the NHS. My parents even recognized how much he did for me and that he was never too busy to help. He also made my experience much more comfortable.

Lisa is also another fantastic HCA who looked after me nearly every day of my admission, She looked after me and worked so well with me too make sure I was ok. She re-cannulised me and did a fantastic job of it which helped as I don’t like needles. She also did an ECG on me and gave me a lot of dignity and relieved my anxiety. I will never forget Lisa for everything that she did for me. She went out of her way to make sure I was ok and regularly communicated with me about my care.

Kim, Anita and Fiona are fantastic nurses who went out of their way to make sure I was well looked after, They too me where the definition of what a nurse should be. Every one of their attitudes were so positive. The care that all of them gave was 110% they were definitely the best nurses That have ever looked after me. I couldn’t fault anything and there's no words to describe what they did for me during my stay. They all communicated with me and gave me respect and dignity. Again these nurses are a credit, they are so dedicated and did the best that they could to help me everytime. The quality and time that was put into my care I am so thankful for. I have never known anybody to be so dedicated to their jobs.

All the staff on this ward are literally so fantastic at their jobs and meet the expectations. I couldn’t ask for anything more from this team. This team has given me a very positive attitude towards the NHS and I am so thankful.
