I had an assessment on my right knee as when I put weight on it I am in pain some times extreme pain, I was told at the assessment that there was nothing they could do and I had to grin and bare it, I was surprised when I realised they had viewed my x-rays from 2 years ago as they said I have some Artheritis but its not to bad. As I had been to the doctors one week prior to the assessment for pain killers for the knee to be told the x-rays I had done 6 months ago show the knee is in a bad way and the notes from the hospital confirmed thinks were three thing in the knee that were not good so on seeing your assessor they will get something done as it wont be long before I wont be able to walk on that leg due to rapid deteriation. If they had vied my recent Xrays then they wouldn't of twisted my knee during the examination therefore not causing my knee to swell up and me not being able to put wait on it for 3 days. surely before an examination is carried out you should have all the facts there to make you decision on how you will conduct the assessment.
