"Outstanding Maternity Care"

I have so much to say to 2 people on particular.

I would like to thank my midwife who showed care, compassion, kindness and dignity. You made me feel at home, you looked after me from the beginning of your shift to the end of your shift and more. You helped me get through a frightening experience, for a first time mum, and made me feel calm and tendered to my every need. I would like to pencil you in for my next birth please (this may be a few years time). I would also like to thank an amazing maternity care assistant, you made me feel rested and helped me keep calm throughout my birth and after. I would definitely be a proud ward manager if you worked for me and more proud that the NHS has 2 people who stand out and prove that this system works!

Thank you so very much both of you. I know that day you were full and had to open a room for me, you managed my birth and all the others coming in, you were pushed to say the least. Both of you worked 12 hours and never had a hair out of place. You truly are my angels.
