About: Salford Royal

My Mum was admitted via A&E on 22/3/16. She was then transferred to EAU and finally HDU. On behalf of my family, I would like to thank everyone involved in the care of my Mum. Her needs and our concerns were at the forefront of the staff at all times.

We were spoken to like adults by all staff - especially the consultants/doctors and kept informed at every step.

In particular, I would like to praise HDU for their amazing treatment and care shown towards Mum and us. There was one particular senior nurse I would like to thank but can not name them here - they were wonderful and caring to the end -as unfortunately, my Mum passed away in HDU.

The Patient centred care was second to none and Salford Royal should be a leading example for all other Trusts to follow.
