"Excellent treatment and standard of care"

I visited the Horton Centre for a partial knee replacement in mid February 2016.The Centre is run very efficiently and with a commendably high focus on the needs of the patient. My initial consultation was undertaken promptly and necessary X-rays were undertaken with a minimum of waiting. The entire process of the operation and post surgery care in what is a traumatic experience for the patient, was handled and managed in an exemplary fashion with the needs and requirements of this patient at the centre. I spent four days in the unit before discharge. The quality of the care provided by the medical, health care and support staff was very high with the patients needs being attended to promptly and effectively. I was particularly impressed by the team approach displayed by each member of the staff with whom I came into contact. The unit is kept very clean and the quality of catering is amongst the best I have experienced in similar institutions.

I would recommend my surgeon and the team at the unit to anyone requiring a similar procedure.
