About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

I have just spent the afternoon in A&E with both of my elderly in laws. They were both treated with dignity and compassion from all staff, porters,hca's, staff nurses, doctors and radiographers.

You are all a credit to the NHS and I really appreciated the kind way you dealt with them. One small point , it would be really helpful if staff introduced themselves and told the patient their name before delivering care.

Thank you for your feedback which has been shared with the staff in the Emergency Department.

Comments such as these mean so much to them and are a great way to boost morale, particularly when the department has been exceptionally busy over the last few months.
