"First time in hospital"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital

had to have emergency op at age of 70. First time in hospital, so very scared and anxious.

Without exception all staff, patient, caring, polite and best of all full of humour.

As new to England had heard a lot of negative comments about the NHS. To me the treament was 5 star and for nothing.

Because of the volume of people the staff have to treat, there maybe longer waiting time. But I was never made to feel that the staff were too rushed to answer my questions,or give me time whilst they treated me if was painful.

Thank you so much to the JR hospital and to the NHS. The follow up care I am receiving is also the best.

Many thanks for providing this lovely feedback. It is great to hear that the medical staff you encountered were so patient and took the time to explain everything so well. Our values as a Trust include providing excellent care with compassion and respect and it is rewarding to hear feedback that confirms that we are fulfilling our values.
